Naval Applications

Limpetite® is approved by the UK Ministry of Defence for use on both inboard and outboard on naval ships.

Extensive sea trials have been carried out by the UK MOD with Navy for the protection of stabilisers, rudders, prop shafts, sea tubes, and 'A' brackets against corrosion, erosion and cavitation. As a result, Limpetite® is the only coating recommended by the UK MOD Procurement executive to be applied to the above equipment when already installed on board.
